Abstract
This study examines the influence of tendon diameter and slab depth on the load-bearing capacity of prestressed hollow-core concrete slabs, utilizing Concise Beam software for parametric analysis. Hollow-core slabs are frequently used in construction for their efficiency and strength, yet the relationship between tendon configuration and slab thickness remains a critical factor for optimizing structural performance. Through a systematic variation of tendon diameters and slab depths, this research models and analyzes the load-bearing capacities of different configurations under typical service conditions. The study organizes and compares results to identify trends and optimal combinations, providing insights into how these design variables impact performance. Findings are supported by graphical representations and comparative analysis, offering valuable guidance for engineers in selecting tendon sizes and slab depths to enhance material efficiency, durability, and overall safety in prestressed concrete design. The results of this study contribute to advancing structural design practices by helping optimize prestressed slab configurations for load-bearing applications.
