Abstract
This study examines an embankment on the Tiznit-Dakhla expressway in southern Morocco, highlighting innovative techniques for soil consolidation. Situated in an estuarine environment, the site poses unique challenges due to its distinct sedimentation processes, the sensitivity of various parameters in the stability analysis of embankments is pointed out. The case study focuses on the use of vertical drains and phased embankment construction as solutions to address the challenges posed by compressible soils for environmental considerations
